Frequently Asked Questions

Where are you located? What is your physical address?

The company is registered in New Jersey, USA. Our U.S. team and affiliates are geographically diverse and range from the U.S. and throughout Asia.

Is it at all possible to work overseas when the developer is so far away from the client?

It is certainly possible. We have been working with many of our clients all over the world in this way. Almost everything proceeds via email and instant messengers, and runs smoothly, as if we were in the same location with the client.

Why offshore?

The advantages of outsourcing are the following:

  • Significant cost savings
  • No need to find, qualify, hire and manage staff
  • No need to add offices, computer infrastructure and other fixed overhead
  • Very scalable and flexible way to grow (or shrink)
  • Client can better focus on their own core competency
  • Around-the-clock shifts can deliver on tight deadlines

Why is it cheaper to use offshore programming?

Offshore development is usually considerably cheaper because offshore programmers live in countries with a lower cost of living. The results of their work can easily be transferred electronically to any country. Therefore a company operating in an expensive environment can noticeably benefit from this difference.

Can you give some me examples of works you have done?

Qualsolutions website, hedge fund accounting. Some of our projects require certain background clearance; you can contact us for an updated list.

How long does it take to complete an average offshore project?

Different projects will take different times to be completed. Before starting a project, you will be given an estimate of the approximate time from us. For example, the development of an average e-commerce site, including a database, may take up to 2 months.

Do you have a contact person in my region?

Please refer to the Contact Us page for an available consultant at this time in your region. If we do not have an office in your region, please contact us via email.

Can I communicate with the developers directly, or through a middleman?

Directly in most cases. Managers participate in the process of the communication as well to facilitate the process.

How do I pay for your work?

The follow three methods have proved to be the most convenient:

  • Wire transfer to an account in the US.
  • Paypal
  • Western Union

Other ways are also possible, if these methods are inaccessible to you. The standard currency for payment is US dollars.

How can you provide security for my projects?

For projects with security sensitive content, we recommend a method commonly used for that purpose: engaging a few independent developers for a single project. You may have your in-house personnel or another company you trust to break down a project into parts, none of which includes secret information in itself, and pass them to us as separate projects. Our manager will take a few independent teams to work on each part, then the development results of each section will be delivered to you, or your chief developer company, and you/they can assemble the parts into the whole. If the parts still retain security involvement, you may choose and pass on to us only those parts that are the least security-related.

Is the code for web-pages written by hand or with an html-editor?

Our developers do hand-coding, which provides the best results for loading time, and for accuracy of viewing in different browsers: NN, IE, Opera, etc. All websites are also tested for errors before submitting to the client.

How can I track my project?

We have developed a special project tracking software to ease the control of project development. This software allows you to check the status of payment, see the current stage that the project has reached, and talk to the developers who are working on your project at each moment.

What if my requirements change after we start working on the project?

Except the standard one, with written specifications for the whole project before implementing it, we have 2 other special terms of project development, designed specifically for such cases: Project series, and Pay-for-time. The first breaks up a project into parts, and we treat each part as a separate small standard sub-project, connected with each other so that they together achieve the goal of the main project. Pay-for-time allows you to hire a developer or a team for a time and give them any list of tasks for a given period of time: adding new features, parts, modifications to the product, etc.

Who are the developers?

We maintain a large network of professional programmers and teams residing in the countries with low costs of living. We pre-select those of them who offer the best ratio of price to quality. At your request, we will engage as many specialists as needed to meet your time requirements and create a team or a workgroup ready to work on your project.

What technologies can your developers employ?

Our software developers work with Java, JavaScript, CGI, flash, DHTML, database integration, ASP, C++, VB, and work under most platforms: Win NT/9x/2000/CE, Unix, Linux, Sun Solaris, Palm OS. Even if you have some special requirements, we will be able to find and engage the right specialist to meet your needs. As to web promotion and content development, we have high-end e-commerce and marketing professionals.
